TWPI ask for as much help as possible from parents and spectators with the finals series.
As you would be well aware we are currently struggling for willing members to help with the conduct of the competition.

We will be running another competition in the New Year but require the help and assistance from as many people as possible to make this competition a success.

You will see that the game times have changed so please be aware of this.

There are a few other changes that will come into place this week that clubs need to be aware of.

1. The teams that play in the first and last games of the night are to help with setting up the pool and packing up at the end of the night.

If this is not adhered to competition points may be deducted.

2. There will be a duty club responsible for providing referees each week. This does not mean that only people from that club must referee but it will be up to someone within the club to ensure there are referees at each of the games, points may also be deducted if this does not occur. Remember that referees will be paid $5 for each game refereed.

3. The Match time periods will be changed to the following

Sub Junior, Junior, Intermediate 2 x 12 Minute periods running clock
Senior Men and Women 4 x 8 Minute Periods Stop Clock, (where possible)

4. The pools have been swapped over so the senior men play in the bigger of the two pools.

Due to the changes in the rules I am currently producing a short referees/coaches/players information session on the new rules and how they apply to the game.

If you are interested in attending such a session please let me know this Friday and I will start to make arrangements.
I advise that all state coaches/players and referees attend this session.
