Congratulations to 20 year old Tasmanian, Steven Cody who has been selected in the Australian Mens Water Polo Team for a Beijing Test Event. The Board of Australian Water Polo has ratified the Men's and Womens teams to participate in a pre-olympic tournament - Test event for the Beijing Olympic Games to be held 18-23 March 2008.

WELL DONE STEPHEN!
Wests Magpies won the men's National Water Polo League title after beating Victorian Tigers 7-5.
Tasmanian Stephen Cody scored a goal for the grand final winners.
Stephen was also awarded the NWPL Final Series MVP and topped of a great season by being one of the seven selected in the NWPL Men's All Stars team.

Three Tasmanian girls have been included in the Australian 16 & Under “train on” Water polo squad. Courtney Kink 15 ( Clarence), Claire McManus 16 ( Wet Magic) and Eleanor Smith 14 ( Clarence). [Shown here L-R]. (...Well done girls).

TASMANIAN SCHOOLS ROSTERS FINALS

After four months of competition with fifty two teams and over five hundred and fifty students competing each Friday night the Schools Water Polo competition has come to a close for season 2007.
